Last weekend as I watched neighbors planting things and putting seeds in the ground and enjoying the lovely 70 degree weather, I was thinking "I was born and raised here, I don't plant a stinking thing until Memorial Day."  And this is why:

This morning's Landscape, and really, this is just the weather Gods being sarcastic at this point.

  1. Same here in south Jersey, Angela! Spring will be here soon, just keep saying that. Hope you are doing well with that knee, that your daughter is in residence waiting on you! Back to the lake soon!

  2. Same in PA although I can usually plant at Mother's Day. I had the stomach bug last weekend watching my neighbor (only one of them) planting like crazy and I kept thinking "did you look at the forecast??"

Some day, I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
